Singh emphasized the need to approach the situation from a sporting perspective, suggesting that Pakistan's decision undermines this spirit. He attributed Pakistan's behavior to internal factors and maintained India's open invitation to the participating nations.
The tournament, seen as a prestigious sporting event in Asia, will continue with reigning champions Korea and host nation India primed to deliver thrilling performances. Besides continental glory, the winners aim for a spot in the FIH Hockey World Cup Belgium-Netherlands 2026.
