Arsenal has reshuffled its leadership, promoting Richard Garlick to CEO and seeing Tim Lewis depart. Lewis, who served as Executive Vice-Chair, has been with Arsenal since September 2020, contributing to a period of transformation. The club aims to secure major trophies and improve financial sustainability.
Arsenal Football Club has announced a significant boardroom reshuffle, effective immediately. Executive Vice-Chair Tim Lewis is departing his role, while Managing Director Richard Garlick has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer.
Tim Lewis joined the Arsenal board in September 2020, after advising Kroenke Sports & Entertainment for over a decade. His departure marks the end of a transformative era at the club. Meanwhile, Garlick, who came to Arsenal two years ago as Director of Football Operations, has risen swiftly through the ranks.
Under their leadership, Arsenal has sought to remain competitive while prioritizing financial stability. The club, which has finished second in the Premier League for the past three seasons, has made significant player acquisitions, including Viktor Gyokeres, Noni Madueke, Eberechi Eze, and Cristhian Mosquera, to strengthen their squad.
