West Indies head coach Daren Sammy is expressing strong confidence in his team's seam attack as they prepare for the two-Test series against India. The squad's diverse pace lineup, including players like Alzarri Joseph and Jayden Seales, is seen as capable of thriving under varied conditions, with the primary goal of claiming 20 wickets.

The series kicks off on October 2 in Ahmedabad, followed by a second Test on October 10 in Delhi. Sammy highlighted their seamers' ability to attack effectively in any conditions, using a consistent six-to-eight-meter length that works globally. He praised each bowler's unique strengths, emphasizing their performance over the past year.

Former captain Kraigg Brathwaite has been left out of the West Indies' 15-member squad. The selection committee has brought back Alick Athanaze and Tagenarine Chanderpaul for their proficiency against spin, while Khary Pierre joins as a fresh face in the spin department. The team, set to arrive in Ahmedabad on September 24, looks to dominate the series with a balanced mix of experience and new talent.
