India was re-elected as the vice-chair of the Conference of Parties (Asia-Pacific) during the 20th anniversary of the International Convention against Doping in Sport. The meeting took place in Paris, focusing on governance, compliance, and emerging challenges like gene manipulation in sports. Over 190 nations participated.

India has secured a significant position by being re-elected as the vice-chair of the Conference of Parties (Asia-Pacific) at the pivotal 20th anniversary of the International Convention against Doping in Sport.

Taking place from October 20-22 at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, the event attracted over 500 representatives from global anti-doping organizations, the International Olympic Committee, and the World Anti-Doping Agency, among others.

Discussions centered on governance, compliance, and emerging challenges, including gene manipulation, while India successfully proposed amendments to enhance educational projects, promoting sport values and integrity.
