The match began with Arshdeep striking in the fourth minute, quickly setting the tone. Despite a valiant effort by Oman's goalkeeper, Ahmed Al Naabi, India's relentless attack saw several goals from penalty corners, with contributions from Ajeet Yadav, Ingalemba Luwan Thouraojam, Anmol Ekka, and Gurjot Singh.
