The list was distilled from 1,390 registrants, also featuring 224 uncapped Indian players and 14 uncapped international stars, promising to add fresh talent to the tournament.
Franchises will vie for 77 open slots, with 31 specifically allocated for overseas players. Notably, 40 players have commanded the highest base price of INR 2 crore, with only two Indians, Venkatesh Iyer and Ravi Bishnoi, in this elite bracket. The INR 1.5 crore bracket includes nine players, while four players have chosen a starting price of INR 1.25 crore. Another 17 players are priced at INR 1 crore leading to stiff competition among franchises. Cameron Green from Australia is expected to be one of the auction's marquee high-value picks as several teams seek a hard-hitting all-rounder.
