Bayern Munich showcased a remarkable turnaround by scoring three goals in their 3-1 victory against Sporting CP in the Champions League, cementing their advancement to the knockout stages. Serge Gnabry, Lennart Karl, and Jonathan Tah netted for Bayern, while an own goal by Joshua Kimmich initially gave Sporting a brief lead.

Gnabry capitalized on a rebound to equalize, and Karl's historic strike in the 69th minute made him the youngest player to score in three consecutive Champions League matches at 17. Tah's late goal sealed Bayern's win and placed them second in the points table.

Elsewhere, Liverpool managed a crucial 1-0 win against Inter Milan at San Siro, thanks to Dominik Szoboszlai's 88th-minute penalty. Despite scarce opportunities, Liverpool prevailed, while Chelsea dropped out of the top eight after losing 2-1 to Atalanta. Joao Pedro scored for Chelsea before Atalanta's comeback secured their third-place position.
