The Gujarat Lions Women's Rugby Team achieved a significant milestone by winning the silver medal at the Khelo India ASMITA Women's West Zone National Rugby Tournament held in Ajmer, Rajasthan. Their commendable performance from December 12-15, 2025, showcases a monumental step in advancing women's rugby in the region.

Throughout the tournament, the team endured fierce competition from top West Zone teams. The Lions' tactical discipline and determination propelled them past early setbacks to reach the final. Key victories included their opening triumph over Chhattisgarh and a commanding win against Madhya Pradesh, illustrating their offensive and defensive prowess.
