Carlos Alcaraz and Aryna Sabalenka have been named the top seeds for the Australian Open set to commence this Sunday. Top seeds include notable players such as Jannik Sinner, Alexander Zverev, and Novak Djokovic in men's singles, while Iga Swiatek and Coco Gauff feature prominently in the women's seedings.

The Australian Open revealed Carlos Alcaraz and Aryna Sabalenka as its top-seeded athletes for the upcoming tennis tournament slated to begin Sunday at Melbourne Park.

This announcement comes just ahead of the tournament's draw, positioning two-time defending champion Jannik Sinner as the second seed, followed by Germany's Alexander Zverev and 10-time winner Novak Djokovic.

In the women's category, Sabalenka leads as the top seed alongside Iga Swiatek and Coco Gauff, marking a repeat of last year's top three positions. Madison Keys, the ninth seed, returns as the defending champion amid a strong representation of American women.
