Bills sign free agent G/C Long, re-sign CB Pitts

One week after being released by the New York Jets, free agent guard/center Spencer Long signed a three-year deal Tuesday with the AFC East rival Buffalo Bills. According to CBS Sports, Long's deal is worth $13 million, with an additional $2 million available via incentives.

The Bills also announced that they have re-signed cornerback Lafayette Pitts to a one-year deal. Terms were not disclosed. Long, a third-round draft pick by the Washington Redskins in 2014, has appeared in 53 regular-season games with 44 career starts.

Long, 28, started 13 games during his only season with the Jets in 2018. He was cut by New York on Feb. 5. Pitts, 26, was set to become a free agent. He appeared in all 16 games for the Bills last season and tallied nine tackles.
