Governor K T Parnaik of Arunachal Pradesh held a meeting with DoNER Minister Jyotiraditya M Scindia in New Delhi, appealing for assistance in boosting sports infrastructure and agri-horticulture in the state.
The governor emphasized the untapped potential of the state's youth in sports, advocating for modern facilities like a dedicated football stadium and integrated sports complexes and academies throughout Arunachal Pradesh. By enhancing facilities, Parnaik aims to nurture young talents and improve competitive exposure.
In agriculture, the focus is on kiwi cultivation, suggesting the construction of a solar-powered cold storage facility to enhance post-harvest management. Such initiatives are expected to bolster farmers' incomes and establish Haryana as a leader in kiwi production.
