Carlos Alcaraz, currently ranked No. 2 in the world, has announced he won't compete in the upcoming French Open due to a right wrist injury.

This injury, which he sustained during his first-round win at the Barcelona Open, also forced his withdrawal from the Madrid Open and the Italian Open.

Alcaraz, named world sportsman of the year this week, remains hopeful for a return by Wimbledon in June.
