In a surprising turn of events, the team Guns-N-Rose has taken the lead in the team event at the ongoing All India Bridge Championship, amassing 64.92 victory points by the conclusion of the fourth round. The competition, held on Thursday, showcases top bridge talent across the country.
Sitting in positions following Guns-N-Rose are Shri Rade with 60.79 points, Challengers at 55.30, Miracle with 54.89, Team Kabra at 54.79, and Maharaja close behind with 54.27. The defending champions, Formidable, find themselves in ninth place, having secured 53.29 points.
With four rounds yet to play, the competition is still wide open. By the end of the eighth round of the Swiss League, the top sixteen teams will proceed to the knockout stage. This four-day championship draws approximately 350 players representing 65 teams from various parts of India.
