Australia has reaffirmed its dominance in the ICC Women's T20I Team Rankings following the annual update, boasting a 12-point lead over England. This positions them as the top contender for the upcoming ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026. The rankings account for all matches played since May 2025 with full weightage and halve the significance of results from the previous two years.
The Aussies top the latest rankings with 287 points, while England and India follow with 275 and 264 points, respectively, marking stability in the top 16. New Zealand, the reigning T20 World Cup champions, hold 253 points in fourth place, with South Africa completing the top five with 243 points.
In other significant movements, the USA's women's team has risen from 22nd to 20th after winning the ICC Women's T20I Challenge Trophy, while Germany climbed six places to 29th. Meanwhile, Cambodia and Peru have dropped due to fewer matches, highlighting the dynamic nature of international rankings.
