In the latest update of the International Cricket Council (ICC) men's T20I rankings, Bangladesh cricketers emerged as notable gainers following their home series against New Zealand. Despite the three-match T20I series ending in a 1-1 draw due to a washout, Bangladesh players made strides, as highlighted by ICC's findings.

Towhid Hridoy, a promising young batter, stood out by moving up two places to secure the 37th position among T20I batters, scoring 84 runs in two innings and earning the Player of the Series title. Meanwhile, India's Abhishek Sharma maintained his hold on the No.1 position, and Bangladesh's captain Litton Das improved his rank to 52nd after his final match contributions in Mirpur.

Bangladesh's ascent in the rankings wasn't limited to batting. Mahedi Hasan climbed to the 17th spot among bowlers, and Shoriful Islam's consistent performances brought him up nine places to 54th. New Zealand's bowlers also took advantage of subcontinental conditions, with Ben Sears advancing 10 spots to 51st and Ish Sodhi reaching 88th, marking him as the top-ranked Kiwi T20I bowler.

In the ODI arena, rankings shifted following the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 tri-series involving Nepal, Oman, and the UAE. Oman's Jatinder Singh jumped seven places to tie for 65th among ODI batters, while his teammate Shakeel Ahmed climbed nine slots to 31st in bowling rankings. Nepal celebrated with all-rounder Dipendra Singh Airee's 12-place rise to 31st in the ODI all-rounders' list.
