Pranavi Urs stood out as the top Indian competitor after the first round of the Amundi German Masters, posting a 3-over 76 to tie for 83rd amidst testing conditions. Her round concluded with two birdies, three bogeys, and a double bogey.

Meanwhile, Leonie Harm of Germany claimed a new course record with an exceptional bogey-free 8-under 65, leading by one stroke. Esther Henseleit, also from Germany, follows closely behind with a remarkable 7-under 66. Danish golfer Sofie Kibsgaard remains in the mix as well.

The conditions challenged Avani Prashanth and Vani Kapoor; Prashanth managed a 5-over 78 while Kapoor struggled to a 10-over 83. With the current cut projected at 1-under, the Indian trio must improve their scores to advance.
