Mumbai Hosts Uganda Cricket Team for Exciting One-Day and T20 Series
The Mumbai Cricket Association is set to host the Uganda cricket team for a series of one-day and T20 matches, scheduled from May 18 to 30. This initiative aims to bolster cricket development in Uganda through a five-year MOU, promoting international collaboration and women's cricket.
The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) has announced its upcoming hosting of the Uganda cricket team for an exciting series of one-day and T20 matches this May. The matches will occur from the 18th to the 30th across different venues, promising thrilling cricket action.
Scheduled days for the one-day matches are May 18, 20, 22, and 24, playing against the MCA Colts. The T20 matches, set for May 26, 27, 29, and 30, will see the Ugandan team face off against teams from the T20 Mumbai League. The MCA is also preparing for the Men's T20 Mumbai League, planned from June 1-13.
This series comes as part of a broader initiative following a five-year Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between MCA and Cricket Uganda. The collaboration seeks to develop Uganda's cricketing landscape, enhancing playing opportunities, high-performance structures, player pathways, coaching expertise, and the advancement of women's cricket.
