Saudi Arabian footballer Saud Abdulhamid has successfully navigated a passport prediment, allowing for his prompt reunion with the national team for their U.S. training camp. The passport issue emerged after a theft incident during Abdulhamid's wedding celebrations in Amsterdam.

Abdulhamid, currently on loan to Lens from Roma, had plans to unite with the Saudi team earlier this week in Riyadh prior to the camp. However, due to the incident, his schedule was interrupted. The Saudi football authorities acted swiftly, facilitating a replacement passport, enabling his timely participation.

Saudi Arabia launched a preparatory stage in New York and Texas, conducting friendlies against Ecuador, Puerto Rico, and Senegal. The team is on course to commence their World Cup journey against Uruguay in Miami this June.
