India Secures Second Place in Asian U20 Athletics Championships
India wrapped up their Asian U20 Athletics Championships campaign impressively, clinching second place in the medal tally. The team achieved 19 medals, including 10 golds, notably outperforming strong competitors, and setting new records in relay events.

India concluded the Asian U20 Athletics Championships in style, finishing second in the overall medal tally. On the final day, the country's athletes added three more golds, bringing their total to 10 gold, 5 silver, and 4 bronze medals over the four-day competition.
The Indian women's 4x400m relay team achieved a meet record time of 3:38.07, surpassing the previous record set by Japan in 2018. The men's relay team also broke the past record but secured bronze. Earlier, Muskan won gold in the 5,000m, and Venkatram Reddy Mogali excelled in the men's 800m for another gold.
With impressive performances, including personal bests from various athletes, India finished just behind China in the rankings, while Japan secured third place. The championship highlighted India's growing strength in athletics on the continental stage.
