Alphonso Davies: Canada's Soccer Sensation Eyeing Return to Play

Canadian soccer star Alphonso Davies was present at the National Soccer Development Centre on Monday, but his full participation was limited as he continues to follow return-to-play protocols related to a hamstring injury.

After a 1-1 tie against Bosnia and Herzegovina in Toronto, the Canadian squad has relocated to Vancouver. Though Davies, 25, engaged in some of the warm-up exercises, a team official confirmed he was not ready for full training ahead of Thursday's face-off with Qatar.

Despite Davies's uncertain status, teammate Joel Waterman emphasized the team's depth, asserting complete confidence in the roster to perform well. All group teams stand evenly ahead of the June 18 matches, where Switzerland meets Bosnia in Los Angeles before Canada's matchup in Vancouver.
