Kiren Rijiju assures athlete's full support in providing training facilities

Minister of State (I/C) for Youth Affairs and Sports Shri Kiren Rijiju today visited Indira Gandhi Stadium, New Delhi and gathered first-hand information about the facilities there. He went to cycling Velodrome and interacted with the trainees there. He met the cyclists who will be participating in the “World Junior Cyclist Meet” in Frankfurt, Germany next month. Sh. Rijiju also went to the Boxing arena where many boxers including Asian Games Gold Medallist Mary Kom was participating in the training programme.
Shri Rijiju assured all the athlete's full cooperation and support in providing training as well as infrastructure facilities. He encouraged athletes to give their best for the country. The Athletes there, in their interaction with the Minister, told that facilities and infrastructure were very good.
