Indian cricket team's strength and conditioning coach Shankar Basu has opened up about the impact of IPL on Virat Kohli's squad. Basu said that the squad took a "beating" during IPL due to their schedule and sleeping pattern. He added that getting them back on track to the training regime was a challenge.
Team India's trainer Shankar Basu: During IPL, whether we like it or not the boys take a beating. During IPL, they sleep as late as 2-3am, getting back to training regime was a sort of a challenge.
