The Deceuninck-QuickStep rider edged out Bennett by a matter of millimeters in the flat finale to the 175 km ride along Spain's east coast from Cullera to El Puig to earn his first ever victory at a Grand Tour.

Jeremy Lin joins Beijing Ducks to play Chinese league

Former NBA star Jeremy Lin has signed a contract to play for China's Beijing Ducks, the team announced in a social media post on Tuesday. It is not clear how long the ethnic Chinese-American Lin will play for the Beijing Ducks. The team said that after the Chinese Basketball Association's approval of his registration Lin could play for Beijing in the Chinese league.
