(Update: first sale on April 14) Amazfit India launches new smartwatch with built-in GPS for Rs 4,999

The Amazfit Bip U Pro offers more than 60 sports modes, Bluetooth v5.0, built-in GPS and Alexa voice assistant. Besides, the watch provides smart notifications for text messages, incoming calls, apps and calendar. Other watch functions include - stopwatch, alarm clock, Find My Phone, smartphone music and camera control.

Amazfit has revealed the India pricing of the upcoming Bip U Pro smartwatch, an enhanced version of the budget-friendly Amazfit Bip U.

In a tweet on Tuesday, the company confirmed that the Amazfit Bip U Pro will be priced at Rs 4,999 in the country, Rs 1,000 more than the standard model which currently retails at Rs 3,999.

The Amazfit Bip U Pro is currently listed on Amazfit and Amazon India website in Charcoal Black, Pink and Green colors. Currently, there is no word as to when the watch will be available for purchase in the country.

Update:  The Amazfit Bip U Pro will go on sale in India on April 14th.

Amazfit Bip U Pro: What's new in the Pro model?

The Amazfit Bip U Pro will come with a 1.43-inch full-colour IPS LCD with 302 x 320-pixels resolution and 2.5D glass on top. The watch is water-resistant up to 50 meters and offers more than 50 watch faces to suit your needs.

On the health and fitness front, the smartwatch allows for measuring blood-oxygen saturation levels (SpO2) and supports 24-hour heart rate monitoring. Other features include sleep quality and stress monitoring, menstrual cycle tracking and PAI Health Assessment System that creates a customized health evaluation system based on users' unique health data.

The smartwatch is claimed to offer a battery life of up to 9 days on a single charge. It takes about 2 hours to fully charge the watch's 230mAh battery via a 2-pin POGO pin charger.

The Amazfit Bip U Pro is compatible with devices running on Android 5.0 or iOS 10.0 and above OS versions.
