OxygenOS 13 Open Beta released for OnePlus 8/8 Pro and OnePlus 8T; build incorporates Airtel 5G

OnePlus is rolling out the OxygenOS 13 Open Beta, based on the latest Android 13, for the OnePlus 8 series and the OnePlus 8T in India. This build includes all features from Android 13, the latest iteration of Google's mobile OS, and the function of Airtel 5G.

If you are willing to experience OxygenOS 13 and 5G, you can upgrade your device to this build. Before that, ensure your device is in the latest OxygenOS 12 version(C.35), the battery level is above 30% and a minimum of 5.5GB of storage space is available.

• Adds an automatic pixelation feature for chat screenshots. The system can identify and automatically pixelate profile pictures and display names in a chat screenshot to protect your privacy.

• Optimizes Private Safe. The Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) is used to encrypt all files for enhanced security of private files.

This build also includes some known issues:

• Abnormal display of charging prompt under screen lock.
• Video below 300K resolution recorded by the camera cannot be sent via MMS.
• More function icon in the editing interface of the control center is displayed incorrectly.
