Infosys and Intel expand partnership to help democratize AI

Indian IT major Infosys and U.S. chipmaker Intel have expanded their strategic collaboration to help global enterprises accelerate their artificial intelligence (AI) journeys.

The two partners will offer advanced AI solutions to help businesses become cost-effective and performance-driven while being responsible by design, Infosys said in a press release on Wednesday.

Infosys Topaz, an AI-first set of services, solutions and platforms using generative AI technologies, will adopt Intel-based solutions, including Intel Xeon processors, Intel Gaudi accelerators, Intel Core Ultra Processors, software, and future generation products, to help customers integrate Gen AI into their businesses whilst adhering to the emerging guardrails of AI.

Another crucial aspect of this expanded collaboration is to skill Infosys employees on the Intel product portfolio to provide generative AI expertise to its wide network of global customers across various industries.

Commenting on this partnership, Balakrishna D.R.
