Tata Elxsi and Emerson Pioneer Mobility Innovation Centre in Bengaluru

Tata Elxsi has inaugurated a new mobility innovation centre in Bengaluru, partnering with Emerson. The centre aims to accelerate automotive innovation and provide advanced system solutions for the industry. It will leverage Tata Elxsi's expertise in automotive engineering and Emerson's technology to drive forward advancements in mobility, including software-defined vehicles and autonomous technologies.

Tata Elxsi, a technology services provider for the automotive and transportation industry, has inaugurated a mobility innovation centre in Bengaluru in collaboration with global automation firm Emerson.

The Tata Elxsi + NI Mobility Innovation Centre (TENMIC) aims to accelerate automotive innovation and software solutions while leveraging global automotive expertise, according to the company’s statement.

TENMIC combines advanced technologies from Emerson's Test & Measurement business with Tata Elxsi's deep automotive engineering, data analytics, and digitalisation expertise to drive advancements in the automotive sector.

Vice President and Head of the Transportation Business Unit at Tata Elxsi, Shaju S, highlighted that Bengaluru offers proximity to a thriving R&D ecosystem of global OEMs, suppliers, and technology companies in India, facilitating innovation and development.

Shaju emphasized that this partnership with Emerson aims to create immense value for clients by driving innovation and development through global expertise.

The collaboration aims to provide comprehensive automated solutions, including advancements in software-defined vehicles, autonomous driving technologies, EV systems, and batteries.

Shitendra Bhattacharya, Director of Emerson's Test and Measurement Business in India & ASEAN, stated that the new centre will enable rapid advancements in automotive technologies and validation, driving the industry forward.
