Air Liquide India Expands with Rs 350 Crore Unit in Mathura

Air Liquide India has inaugurated a new air separation unit in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, with an investment of Rs 350 crore. The facility aims to boost its healthcare and industrial gas supply in the region, featuring a daily production capacity of over 300 tonnes of liquid oxygen, among other gases. The company plans to fully operate the unit on renewable energy by 2030.

Industrial gases firm Air Liquide India has announced the establishment of a new manufacturing unit in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, with a Rs 350 crore investment to broaden its business operations.

The advanced air separation unit focuses on healthcare and industrial merchant services in Kosi, Mathura.

Featuring a daily production capacity exceeding 300 tonnes of liquid oxygen and medical oxygen, 45 tonnes of liquid nitrogen, and 12 tonnes of liquid argon, the unit will serve industrial gases throughout Delhi Capital Territory, Western Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh.

The plant's medical-grade oxygen will be supplied to hospitals, and it aims to operate entirely on renewable energy by 2030. Benoît Renard, Managing Director of Air Liquide India, emphasized the unit's role in expanding their industrial and healthcare footprint in the region.
