Madhya Pradesh Enhances IT Policy to Attract Investment and Boost Employment

The Madhya Pradesh cabinet has approved significant amendments to the Information Technology Policy-2023, aiming to provide multiple benefits for companies establishing operations in the state.
These amendments to the MP IT, ITES, and ESDM Investment Promotion Policy-2023 were sanctioned during a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav. Officials highlight that the initiative is designed to attract investment and spur employment growth in Madhya Pradesh's burgeoning tech sector.
Among the incentives are single-window clearance, capital expenditure and rent assistance, land at affordable rates, and exemptions on stamp duty, alongside support for marketing and quality control. Urban Development and Housing Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya emphasized that the policy's development drew from IT policies in various states to create a robust investment-friendly environment in Madhya Pradesh.
