This collaboration seeks to create a fully automated, SaaS-based platform accredited by GLEC and ISO 14083, enhancing sustainability across various industries.
Mahindra Logistics Limited (MLL) has joined forces with AI-driven sustainability startup Sangti Solutions to slash carbon emissions in the supply chain, the company announced on Friday.
The partnership aims to establish a fully automated system via a SaaS platform, which is accredited by the Global Logistics Emission Council (GLEC) and ISO 14083. This system will seamlessly integrate into existing logistics and supply chain processes, offering a centralized interface for efficient data management and comprehensive viewing.
The new system will feature carbon emission key performance indicators (KPIs) for various sectors, including auto, telecom, e-commerce, manufacturing, and white goods. It will cover full and part truck load, warehousing, and cross-border solutions. Additionally, Mahindra Logistics' green logistics ecosystem includes carbon-neutral warehousing, sustainable transportation, and an EV fleet for last-mile delivery, aiming for carbon-neutrality by 2040.
