Richard Moore, the head of Britain's MI6 foreign spy agency, has revealed concerns about potential Iranian retaliation following the killing of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh.

Speaking at an FT event on Saturday, Moore asserted that Iran, which blames Israel for Haniyeh's assassination in Tehran in late July, is likely to attempt retaliation.

Moore emphasized the need for continued vigilance, stating, 'I suspect they will try and we won't be able to let our guard down for the type of activity that the Iranians might try and prosecute in that direction.'
