TATA.ev's Open Collaboration 2.0: Supercharging India's EV Future

TATA.ev announced 'Open Collaboration 2.0' to rapidly expand India's electric vehicle charging network to over 400,000 points. Partnering with major CPOs, the initiative includes a mega charger network and aims to enhance speed, reliability, and customer experience. A seamless payment system and unified helpline are also being introduced.

TATA.ev has unveiled a significant initiative dubbed 'Open Collaboration 2.0' to boost India's electric vehicle charging infrastructure, seeking to more than double the current network to over 400,000 charging points within two years.

The company plans to strengthen partnerships with charging point operators, installing an additional 30,000 public charging points nationwide. In collaboration with Tata Power, ChargeZone, Statiq, and Zeon, the first phase of deployment will see 500 superfast chargers operational over two years in strategic locations.

Shailesh Chandra, Managing Director at Tata Motors, emphasized the program's goal to enhance charging speed and reliability while ensuring a superior user experience. A unified helpline and seamless payment solutions will further support customers as electric vehicle adoption continues to grow in the country.
