Aman Gupta Calls for France-India Tech Collaboration: A Push for Innovation

Aman Gupta, co-founder of boAt, has urged for enhanced collaboration between France and India in tech innovation. Emphasizing India's vast startup ecosystem, Gupta invited French companies to invest and participate in key events to strengthen partnerships, highlighting India's shift from tech importation to exportation.

Aman Gupta, co-founder of consumer tech company boAt, rallied for greater collaboration between France and India in tech innovation at the Indo-France CEO forum during the AI Action Summit in Paris. Highlighting India's emergence as a global innovation hub with over 100,000 startups and numerous unicorns, Gupta extended an invitation to tech firms to invest in the country.

He noted the importance of connecting global dots by encouraging France to engage with India's vibrant startup scene through events like the April Startup Mahakumbh in Delhi and urging Indian representation at Paris's Viva Tech in June. Gupta advocated for increased Founder-led partnerships and the utilization of programs such as 'Invest in India' to bolster these ties.

Gupta emphasized India's transition from being primarily a tech importer to a significant tech exporter, citing the success of products like boAt headphones and iPhones made in India. He encouraged French companies to seize opportunities to collaborate with Indian manufacturers, leverage PLI and PMP schemes, and establish joint ventures. Gupta assured that while the world is watching India, it is also eager to collaborate with it.
