Russia's Drone Blitz: A Night of Aerial Warfare

On Sunday, Ukraine's air force reported a significant overnight assault, as Russia released 267 drones aimed at various Ukrainian targets. Despite the intensity, Ukraine achieved substantial defensive success, shooting down 138 drones.
Another 119 drones disappeared from radar, disrupted by Ukraine's electronic warfare systems. Russia supplemented this attack with the launch of three ballistic missiles.
The strategic strikes resulted in damage spreading across five regions of Ukraine. These massed drone attacks have become a near-nightly occurrence, testing the resilience of Ukraine's air defense systems.
