Revolutionizing Healthcare: India-Israel Partnership for Robotic Solutions
Xtend AI Inc and Advance Mechanical Services Pvt Ltd have signed an MoU to develop service robots in Karnataka. Supported by Israel and Karnataka's digital initiatives, this aims at enhancing healthcare access, creating jobs, and boosting Indo-Israeli trade relations.
Xtend AI Inc from Israel and Bengaluru's Advance Mechanical Services Pvt Ltd (AMS-India) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Tuesday, marking a pivotal step towards advancing robotic healthcare solutions in Karnataka. Officials highlighted that the collaboration will focus on co-designing, developing, manufacturing, and distributing cutting-edge service robots.
This venture builds on a previously successful research, development, and manufacturing partnership fostered by the Government of Israel and the Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM). The primary goal is to enhance healthcare access for economically disadvantaged populations by introducing affordable, autonomous robotic solutions in both rural and urban healthcare facilities.
The joint initiative is poised to not only boost Karnataka's economy by creating high-value employment opportunities but also fortify trade relations between India and Israel. These advanced technologies aim to position Karnataka as a pioneering state in digital health and medical robotics, aligning with governmental objectives for sustainable and inclusive development, noted officials.
