Magenta Mobility announced on Monday its partnership with logistics tech platform MOVER to deploy and manage a fleet of over 250 electric vehicles (EVs). This collaboration aims to enhance last-mile delivery services in metropolitan regions including Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Chennai.
The integration of these EVs into MOVER's fleet promises to expand delivery capabilities, improve fulfilment rates, and cut operational costs, while aligning with environmental goals. Magenta highlights that the fleet's zero tailpipe emissions will make logistics more sustainable, particularly in high-density areas where traditional delivery modes encounter difficulties.
Maxson Lewis, Managing Director and CEO of Magenta Mobility, emphasized the importance of sustainability in business growth. MOVER, benefitting from its tech-enabled model, sees the partnership as a way to strengthen its green delivery network, especially in cities impacted by commercial vehicle restrictions. The collaboration seeks to expand into all major Indian cities and Tier 2 cities in the next 24 months.
