India Successfully Test-Fires Pralay: A New Tactical Missile

In a significant achievement, India has successfully test-fired its newly-developed tactical missile, Pralay, off the Odisha coast.

Pralay, a product of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), is a short-range surface-to-surface missile with a payload capacity of 500 to 1,000 kg, capable of carrying conventional warheads over distances ranging from 150 to 500 km.

These evaluations are a testament to India's growing defense prowess, with the missile hitting its target with precision and all subsystems performing as expected, according to the defense ministry's statement.
