The Indian Army, in a significant collaboration with IIT Hyderabad, has introduced on-site 3D concrete printing technology to accelerate the construction of bunkers and protective structures in the challenging forward areas of Sikkim.
This innovative capability, already tested in other operational zones, has been effectively deployed by the Trishakti Corps in the Himalayan state, demonstrating its strategic utility.
Equipped with advanced features like a robotic arm and circular mixer, the technology ensures rapid construction with enhanced strength and resilience, marking a substantial leap in the Army's engineering prowess and operational readiness.
