The Arunachal Pradesh government unveiled a visionary programme on Tuesday, aiming to equip college students and recent graduates with crucial competencies in artificial intelligence (AI). The initiative, led by the state's IT Department in partnership with Rancho Labs and IIT-Delhi's Technology Innovation Hub, marks a step towards aligning the local workforce with global tech standards.

Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein announced the launch, highlighting its role in endowing the youth with skills in AI, data analysis, and Python programming. 'We aim to prepare our students for burgeoning careers in the tech sector,' he emphasized in a statement on X.

The training, commencing in January in Itanagar, offers a five to six-week curriculum blending instructor-led sessions with practical projects. The government, ensuring accessibility, fully funds the programme for students who register by January 4.
