Tech Transformation: Boosting Logistics for MSMEs

The Centre for Digital Economy Policy Research, partnering with IIT Delhi, released a report on the role of technology-enabled transport in improving logistics for MSMEs in India. A new report, developed by the Centre for Digital Economy Policy Research in collaboration with IIT Delhi, examines how technology-enabled logistics are reshaping the landscape for India's Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

The report was launched at the India Habitat Centre in New Delhi, highlighting both the advantages of tech-enabled transportation for MSMEs, and warning of emerging policy risks.

By incorporating technology, MSMEs have reduced logistics costs and boosted efficiency, but potential tax increases through GST 2.0 could threaten these advancements, underscoring the need for regulatory clarity.
