This initiative is designed to honor the individuals who serve and their families.
The discounts, part of an exclusive offer on airlines like IndiGo, Air India, Akasa Air, and SpiceJet, require travelers to select 'Armed Forces' during their booking on the ixigo app or website. Necessary verification includes entering a valid ID number and presenting an original ID at check-in.
Ixigo's co-CEOs, Rajnish Kumar and Aloke Bajpai, stated that this initiative seeks to enhance travel accessibility and comfort for armed forces personnel, recognizing their commitment and service.
