Streamlining Pensions: Goa and Cochin Port Authority Join SAMPANN
The Goa government and Cochin Port Authority have partnered to join the SAMPANN platform, which is managed by the Office of the CGCA. The platform is designed to streamline pension disbursement, covering the entire pension lifecycle for telecom pensioners. Additionally, a commemorative stamp was released for the Postal Training Centre's 75th anniversary.

The Goa government and the Cochin Port Authority have taken a significant step towards modernizing pension disbursement by signing agreements to onboard the SAMPANN digital platform.
Presided over by Union Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, the agreement seeks to streamline the pension lifecycle for telecom pensioners. Currently developed and managed by the Office of the Controller General of Communication Accounts, SAMPANN serves approximately 4.8 lakh pensioners.
In a related announcement, Minister Scindia commemorated the Postal Training Centre's 75th anniversary at Saharanpur by unveiling a special postage stamp.
