The main objective was to explore collaborative and investment opportunities across sectors such as e-governance, e-health, and space, according to a state government release.
The discussions between Seeram Sambasiva Rao, Special Secretary of the Kerala Department of Electronics and Information Technology, and Estonian representatives emphasized Kerala's focus on boosting private sector investment in technology. Highlighting the state's advanced service sector, Sambasiva noted that Kerala offers a robust ecosystem for potential investors.
Ambassador Luup praised Kerala's initiatives in e-governance and expressed interest in forming alliances with local startups and companies. Estonia aims to extend its success in cybersecurity and AI to collaborative efforts with Kerala, leveraging the state’s progressive technology domains such as the space sector.
