Vlora Airport, the gateway to the investments that brings development

According to Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Damian Gjiknuri, the country needs technicians urgently as he believes there would be many job opportunities in the coming year. He said that the Albanian government investment would be creating the job opportunity.

The Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Damian Gjiknuri stated during a meeting that the construction of the Vlora airport by becoming an entry gate for tourism will increase the industrial interest throughout the area. It will also be attracting investments that will bring economic development.

He was present there with Prime Minister Edi Rama and was discussing the promotion of employment.

He said that there is a necessity for increasing professional capacities in the country in the time of such project investments.

He emphasized that there are 4,000 vacancies in Vlora, he said, "There are jobs for hotels, for many production units in Vlora, but there are not enough people to hire, although they can be good-value jobs,"

According to him, the country needs technicians urgently as he believes there would be many job opportunities in the coming year. He said that the Albanian government investment would be creating the job opportunity.

While today, according to him, the country has a great need for technicians, as there are many jobs that will be opened next, due to the massive investments that the Albanian government will make.

He also added that building the Fier and Vlora bypass and the ambitious Public-Private Partnership program will require people and the labor market will be even more expensive for the specialists.

He said that the specialist in Albania is less and that's why in the present, the Albania companies get the required manpower from Turkey.
