China, Thailand authorities in communication on visa waiver for citizens

Chinese and Thai authorities are communicating and looking forward to implementing the visa waiver for the two countries' citizens, China's foreign ministry said on Tuesday. Both sides will also enhance people-to-people exchanges, ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin told a press briefing.

Thai Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin said on Tuesday Thailand and China will permanently waive visa requirements for each other's citizens from March.
