Tragic Bus Accident Claims Life in Maharashtra

GONDIA, MAHARASHTRA – A tragic turn of events unfolded early Monday morning on the Gondia-Goregaon road near Milltoli, as a bus with a Madhya Pradesh registration number crashed into a wall. The mishap claimed one life and left 11 others injured, according to local police.

The bus, returning from Hyderabad in Telangana with 35 passengers, was driven by Mohit Umaprasad Kirsan, a Balaghat resident, who lost control around 7:30 am. The vehicle rammed into the compound wall of an agricultural firm and weigh bridge, leading to the fatal incident. Authorities have confirmed that among the injured, Thansingh Yadav, 30, succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

Inspector Chandrakant Kale, leading the response team, managed to clear the road and restore normal traffic flow shortly after the accident. The driver has been taken into custody, and an in-depth investigation is currently underway.
