Thiruvananthapuram International Airport has inaugurated a new back-up Airport Operation Control Centre (AOCC) to ensure seamless 24/7 operations, even during emergencies or shutdowns.
This advanced nerve centre, powered by SITA software AMS and Infobip software ERMS, oversees resource management, crisis response, and effective coordination with Air Traffic Control, Immigration, Customs, CISF, Airlines, APHO, and internal departments.
Currently operational within the domestic terminal, the AOCC's back-up has been strategically positioned in the ARFF building at airside, capable of handling all technical functionalities to ensure continuous business operations.
