Polish Engineering Firm Under Investigation for Alleged Drone Parts Export to Iran
A Polish state-owned company, WSK Poznan, is under investigation for allegedly exporting parts to Iran that were reportedly used in Iranian combat drones deployed in Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The National Prosecutor's Office is looking into whether the firm exported dual-use products without the proper permits, potentially violating sanctions.
A state-owned Polish engineering company, WSK Poznan, is being investigated over the export of parts to Iran.
Private broadcaster Radio Zet reported that the company sold pumps to Iranian motor-maker Motorsazan Company for use in tractors. However, the parts allegedly ended up in Iranian drones, which have been sent to Russia and used in the Ukrainian invasion.
WSK Poznan affirmed that its pumps were not designed for aircraft and were diesel-powered. The firm's management has pledged full cooperation with authorities to resolve the issue and secure the company's future.
