Umerov, a close aide to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, met External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval during his visit to India. He provided a comprehensive update on the situation in Ukraine and explored avenues for peace through dialogue and diplomacy.
India reiterated its commitment to finding a peaceful solution to the Ukraine crisis, emphasizing the importance of dialogue. Discussions also touched upon expanding bilateral cooperation, aligned with agreements from earlier talks between President Zelenskyy and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
