Air India FTC Employees Face Uncertainty Amid Vistara Merger
As Tata Group merges Vistara with Air India, around 300 non-flying FTC employees from Air India may not have their contracts renewed. Despite years of service, these employees have not been reassigned roles during the company's fitment exercise. Permanent employees, however, are being offered voluntary retirement or separation schemes.

Sources reveal that approximately 300 non-flying fixed-term contract (FTC) employees at Air India face job uncertainty as the airline is unlikely to renew their service agreements amidst the merger with Vistara.
These employees, who have served the company for 10-15 years, have failed to secure new roles in the ongoing fitment exercise.
Tata Group's consolidation of its airline business also includes merging Air India Express and AIX Connect.
